Last year, in New Milford, about this time…No electricity, schools closed, roads closed, tortoises and dragon lizards in my living room, while most other businesses were closed…..Pratt Nature Center had STORM CAMP! Nature gave us everything we needed ( except showers). We spent our days on the mountain, climbing over fallen trees, exploring…we were in true survival mode. We finished each day with a big bonfire, cooked our own dinners and went home with warm food in our bellies.
Who knows what Storm Sandy will bring to Connnecticut. If we do get hit….check facebook for updates or email us. As long as it is safe (and I can find a warm shower) Camp will go on!
