Some people countdown individual days to an important event. I count down Saturdays. I started doing this as a child to countdown the days to Memorial Day Weekend (Memorial Day was my very own official start of summer at Candlewood Lake). Special events never seemed so far away when I counted the Saturdays (only 8 more by the way).
As I grow older sometimes counting Saturdays sends me into a panic, only 12 until High School Graduation and 20 until leaving for college, but the excitement of counting Saturdays to Summer has never changed.
So it is with great excitement that I announce……………
Only 12 More Saturdays to the first day of Pratt Nature Center Summer Camp 2013!!!
