Welcome Wamogo Middle School!

We are busy getting ready for 100 Wamogo Middle School Science students to join us ( in the rain) on a school field trip tomorrow.  They will be participating in an entire day of hands on learning!   They will be making pickles while learning about the science of preserving (in our soon to be kitchen).   The Importance of Buying Local and Natural and its Effect on the Environment, your Health and the Local Economy will be taught in the Yurt,  where we will also be making salsa.  A six month composting experiment is set and ready to go in the garden.   A discussion on Biodiversity will be kept dry under one of the summer camp tents.   All of our topics will be  concentrating on how our food choices and actions effect climate change!!!

We have lots of great activities planned!   We will be sharing more about our day tomorrow, especially the compost experiment!!!!  So stay tuned!
