It can be a challenge to manage those days off during the week on the school calendar so let us help! Pratt follows the New Milford Public Schools and Washington Montessori calendar but any child from anywhere is welcome. When kids are off during the week, we welcome them for a day of camp. Open to kids age 4-14, they’ll spend the day exploring the property with friends in activities that change with every season. It is the perfect way for kids to spend the day when school is closed!

Owl Pellet Investigation

Grades K-2: Monday, November 18th  3:30-4:30

Grades 3-5: Wednesday, November 20th, 4:30-5:30

Owls are fascinating creatures! Come investigate a pellet to discover what owls eat through the bones that are left behind. Their pellets are the indigestible parts of an owl’s last few meals – the fur, bones – that the owls regurgitate, or cough up. Once dried out and sterilized, dissecting them is a true mystery adventure where kids will pull out clues and piece together a slice of an owl’s history.  What will you find in yours? All tools, materials and pellets provided.

$15 per child, online pre-registration is required.
