The most indigenous part of the Pratt Center has to be its display of trees through the wooded areas. A lot of trees found here are the kinds you might see in your backyard such as the White Pine or the Chestnut Oak; however one tree stands out at the Pratt Center, due to its high population of them.
The Sycamore tree, or commonly known as by its nickname the “Ghost Tree” due to its white bark, stand out as you make your way into the field. Seen on the horizon, you can see the white bark as an eerie figure at night. The Sycamore tree has one of the largest leaves around. Can you find me?
