The Pratt Center nature preserve has a pond ecosystem that teems with wildlife, like frogs and salamanders and other amphibious creatures. Water based plant life thrive from spring to early autumn. During the height of summer, the reeds cascade the edges and help to make it more of a developed ecosystem for the creatures that live here. This is a great resource for discovery. Listen and watch for its signs of life.
