Bruno, our African Spur-Thighed Tortoise ( Sulcata) has a new friend! Bushy Hill Nature Center in Ivoryton Connecticut gave us a call last week asking for help in wintering their female Tortoise. After discussing it with staff and Bruno of course, we agreed to help them out! Shelly will be spending the winter with us as our “Foster Tortoise.”

This afternoons, after school, enrichment class got to share with me my favorite animal experience (so far) at Pratt.
